What a fantastic day at Brookvale Community Centre Runcorn for a community event packed with free advice, support and food for local families.🌟The Stop Loan Sharks team had a great time joining local organisations including:👉Central Credit Union👉Halton & St Helens Voluntary and Community Action👉Mindful Miniatures👉Cheshire Police👉The Elton Larder CICA highlight of the day was seeing everyone enjoy the fantastic activities provided by Digital Arts Box CIC, including mascot photo opportunities and keyring making, funded by Stop Loan Sharks through money seized from convicted illegal lenders.It was wonderful to see so many families getting involved, snapping photos with the mascots, having fun and connecting with local services in their community.Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it such a brilliant event! #stoploansharksengland#partnershipworking#CommunityEvent ... A 70-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man were arrested in Liverpool today on suspicion of illegal money lending and money laundering following an early morning operation by the England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT).Working alongside Merseyside Police, officers executed a warrant at an address in the Dingle area. Mobile phones and paperwork were seized, and both suspects were taken into custody to be questioned by IMLT investigators.
